Cleaning Show 2017- A Great Success!

"Cleaning Show goes from strength to strength with the great and good attendingThe Cleaning Show 2017 saw over 5,500 professional trade attendees including the great and the good from the cleaning and hygiene sector over three days ExCeL London, 14-16 March. Approximately 10% of the visitors traveled to London from overseas to network and place orders with the UK companies exhibiting" - cleaningshow.co.uk

The Cleaning Show summed up sounds pretty impressive, doesn't it? Well we can say first hand as exhibitors that the description is accurate and it was a fantastic show! A week has already flown by since we were at The ExCel in London and proudly demonstrating our Custom Plus Bin Wash machine. We're now back in the safe confines of our office and going through all of the promising leads we got from the show.

The 2017 Cleaning Show this year really out-did itself and we had fun every step of the way, from the initial planning stages right through to the show itself.

To give you an idea of how the show was for us we have recapped on some of our best bits:

Innovation Awards
This year our Custom Plus Bin Wash machine was up for the 'Outdoor Cleaning' award category against some of the biggest names in the cleaning industry. The innovation awards are a series of prizes for the best products and services in defined categories, with entrants ranging from small to large established companies.

We were humbled to be chosen as a finalist in the 'Outside Cleaning' category in which the final award went to Karcher. To even be shortlisted against such an array of big names was really humbling for us and confirms that our wheelie bin wash range is really ahead in terms of innovation.
The Custom Plus Machine we had on our stand was 'badged up' with the finalist's sticker- however, this has since moved on as we sold the model at the show and delivered it straight after!

We want to congratulate all of the winners and participants of the Innovation Awards,   including the judges for their commitment and work. Thank you!

Personal Best For Leads

This year was our busiest ever and poor Peter, Rob and Keith barely got a minute to themselves (not that we're complaining!). We saw a record number of enquiries come piling in which has given us plenty of leads to follow up. We also managed to sell the Custom Plus directly off the stand and dropped it off en-route home.

Our new range of professional wheelie bin wash machines received a lot of interest and the show has proven to be the perfect avenue to introduce the models. We were able to directly get feedback from the crowd and gauge their thoughts, the Concept machine in particular received a lot interest and was welcomed as a great idea.

View the new range of professional bin wash machines here.

High Footfall

For the 3 day duration of the show footfall was very high and the Morclean stand was heavily populated at all times. We were so busy that we've since been told by 3 cleaning journals that they struggled to get on the stand to talk to us! Maybe next time we need to take some clones of Pete, Rob and Keith?

The show also welcomed a lot of overseas visitors including people from Poland, Lithuania, Italy, Ireland, Finland and Romania. We met a lot of potential new dealers and managed to secure a deal with a company based in Romania. Result!

Keith also has an extra-busy time on his hands doing demonstrations of the Custom Plus machine after the show. The day after the show finished Keith already had a demonstration booked in Bolton- busy boy!

ExCel- The Venue

The ExCel is one of the most impressive venues we have ever exhibited at and hosted the perfect atmosphere for the show. The ExCel is located in the gateway to Europe- London, the most accessible city in the world. Getting to the ExCel is extremely easy and the conference facilities offered are second-to-none. We enjoyed staying at The Premier Inn just a hands-throw away from the venue which offered us peace of mind and convenience at the end of a busy exhibition day.

The Organisers
A big thanks goes to Quartz Business Media for organising the event and allow us to exhibit and show off our professional bin wash range. The event has opened up many opportunities to us and for that we are really grateful.

Overview

Overall the event has been a massive success for us and we enjoyed networking with customers, old and new. We received a great reception to our new bin wash products and look forward to introducing these over the coming months. Keep posted for an insider glimpse of the show and our journey highlights.

The Final Day- Cleaning Show 2017

Time has flown by here at the ExCel in London and we are sad to say that it's very nearly the end of The Cleaning Show. We've had a fantastic time and managed to generate an impressive amount of leads that surpluses previous years. We've enjoyed meeting many new faces, including the very chipper duck mascot from Greyland- he was never far away!

The show has proven the perfect avenue to introduce our new bin wash models and we've had a very receptive audience at our stand. As always the Custom Plus caught everyone's eye and the 6 stages of water treatment proved a favourite with the audience. There will definitely be more than enough leads to follow up when we get back to the office! And it's safe to say we will definitely be attending the next Cleaning Show installment due in 2018.

We're proud to be a real company with real people, and we've thrived meeting new faces at the exhibition. As you can see from the pics below it was smiles all round on the Morclean stand!

On the second day of the show we greeted the judges of the Innovation Awards to our stand, where they inspected our Custom Plus Bin Wash machine for the 'Outside Cleaning' category. The innovation awards are a series of prizes for the best products and services in defined categories and with entrants ranging small to large established companies. We were humbled to be chosen as a finalist in the 'Outside Cleaning' category in which the final award went to Karcher. To even be shortlisted against such an array of big names was really humbling for us and confirms that our wheelie bin wash range is really ahead in terms of innovation.

The Custom Plus Bin Wash machine- Innovation Award Finalist
The third day of the Cleaning Show saw no decrease in enquiries and our stand flourished with leads- plenty to keep us going when we get back to the office. To everyone who came and spoke to us and take an interest in Morclean we are truly pleased to have met you and thank you for taking the time to visit our stand.

We would like to send a big thank you to everyone involved in the show including all of the organisers. The Cleaning Show attracts a mixture of manufacturers, exhibitors and potential customers and it is a melting pot for new business. We consistently get good results from attending and envisage the Bin Wash machine visiting for many years to come!

Day 1 of The Cleaning Show has been a whirlwind and Peter, Keith and Rob have been busy networking and dealing with enquiries since the get-go. We've enjoyed plenty of promising leads and showing visitors first hand our award-winning Custom Plus Bin Wash machine.

In the morning we were interviewed for the Innovation Awards in which we are currently a finalist for. Results from the judges will be released shortly and we'll soon find out if the Custom Plus Model is scooping up yet another award!

Special fit build goes to one of Europe's leading manufacturers of gas accumulators

Our wash pad has recently been sent to one of Europe's leading gas accumulator manufacturers. The company has taken the Morclean wash pad to adapt so that it can assist in the cleaning and restoration of gas canisters. The pad will be adapted so that it can hold gas canisters in place for jet washing.

Our semi-permanent wash pads are more traditionally used for parking vehicles on and collecting the waste water (effluent) created when washing down vehicles. We can tailor make different wash pads to suit the client's needs.

The surface mounted wash pad is a solution to heavy duty environments where a high volume of vehicles needs to be washed.  The wash pad is a surface mounted system which means the operator can avoid excavation or the need to have any items installed below ground.

This is ideal for leasehold or sensitive sites such as a multi-storey car park where ground works are not practical. The wash pad can be tailored and designed to your specifications.

To find out more about the wash pad and how it can be a better alternative to excavation works get in touch with us today on: 01246 471147 or email sales@morclean.com

Specialist product training to large beer brewery

Our sales and training specialist, Keith Clark, has this week gone to the second largest brewing and canning company in the UK. We recently supplied the company with a VP3600 vapour steam cleaner for use in their canning plant and for the general cleanliness of the factory.

Compact, maneuverable and very powerful, the VP3600 has become the best seller of our range. The powerful vacuum cleaner and steam,, super-heated to 180 degrees C and delivered at 8 bar pressure, makes this the ultimate super cleaner. The VP3600 enables either simultaneous or independent use of the industrial strength vacuum or the super-heated steam facility.

A feature allowing the addition of mild detergents to the dry steam as it is released from the cleaning head is also available with the VP3600. This is a tough machine for the toughest cleaning jobs.

Keith delivered training to five trainers at the company's premises in Burton-Upon-Trent which included a demonstration of the machine and how to refill and maintain the system.

Morclean are able to supply a range of specialist equipment for different uses and applications. Get in touch with the team if you have any specifics requirements.
