Cleaning Show 2017- A Great Success!

"Cleaning Show goes from strength to strength with the great and good attendingThe Cleaning Show 2017 saw over 5,500 professional trade attendees including the great and the good from the cleaning and hygiene sector over three days ExCeL London, 14-16 March. Approximately 10% of the visitors traveled to London from overseas to network and place orders with the UK companies exhibiting" - cleaningshow.co.uk

The Cleaning Show summed up sounds pretty impressive, doesn't it? Well we can say first hand as exhibitors that the description is accurate and it was a fantastic show! A week has already flown by since we were at The ExCel in London and proudly demonstrating our Custom Plus Bin Wash machine. We're now back in the safe confines of our office and going through all of the promising leads we got from the show.

The 2017 Cleaning Show this year really out-did itself and we had fun every step of the way, from the initial planning stages right through to the show itself.

To give you an idea of how the show was for us we have recapped on some of our best bits:

Innovation Awards
This year our Custom Plus Bin Wash machine was up for the 'Outdoor Cleaning' award category against some of the biggest names in the cleaning industry. The innovation awards are a series of prizes for the best products and services in defined categories, with entrants ranging from small to large established companies.

We were humbled to be chosen as a finalist in the 'Outside Cleaning' category in which the final award went to Karcher. To even be shortlisted against such an array of big names was really humbling for us and confirms that our wheelie bin wash range is really ahead in terms of innovation.
The Custom Plus Machine we had on our stand was 'badged up' with the finalist's sticker- however, this has since moved on as we sold the model at the show and delivered it straight after!

We want to congratulate all of the winners and participants of the Innovation Awards,   including the judges for their commitment and work. Thank you!

Personal Best For Leads

This year was our busiest ever and poor Peter, Rob and Keith barely got a minute to themselves (not that we're complaining!). We saw a record number of enquiries come piling in which has given us plenty of leads to follow up. We also managed to sell the Custom Plus directly off the stand and dropped it off en-route home.

Our new range of professional wheelie bin wash machines received a lot of interest and the show has proven to be the perfect avenue to introduce the models. We were able to directly get feedback from the crowd and gauge their thoughts, the Concept machine in particular received a lot interest and was welcomed as a great idea.

High Footfall

For the 3 day duration of the show footfall was very high and the Morclean stand was heavily populated at all times. We were so busy that we've since been told by 3 cleaning journals that they struggled to get on the stand to talk to us! Maybe next time we need to take some clones of Pete, Rob and Keith?

The show also welcomed a lot of overseas visitors including people from Poland, Lithuania, Italy, Ireland, Finland and Romania. We met a lot of potential new dealers and managed to secure a deal with a company based in Romania. Result!

Keith also has an extra-busy time on his hands doing demonstrations of the Custom Plus machine after the show. The day after the show finished Keith already had a demonstration booked in Bolton- busy boy!

ExCel- The Venue

The ExCel is one of the most impressive venues we have ever exhibited at and hosted the perfect atmosphere for the show. The ExCel is located in the gateway to Europe- London, the most accessible city in the world. Getting to the ExCel is extremely easy and the conference facilities offered are second-to-none. We enjoyed staying at The Premier Inn just a hands-throw away from the venue which offered us peace of mind and convenience at the end of a busy exhibition day.

The Organisers
A big thanks goes to Quartz Business Media for organising the event and allow us to exhibit and show off our professional bin wash range. The event has opened up many opportunities to us and for that we are really grateful.

Overview

Overall the event has been a massive success for us and we enjoyed networking with customers, old and new. We received a great reception to our new bin wash products and look forward to introducing these over the coming months. Keep posted for an insider glimpse of the show and our journey highlights.
