Susan conquers Mount Kilimanjaro

Recently, Morclean had the pleasure of supporting inspirational, local young lady, Susan Glover with her amazing, selfless bid to raise money for Child Reach International by climbing the highest mountain in Africa.
Measuring a whopping 5,895 meters above sea level, this would be no walk in the park for Susan, but her hard work and determination saw her through and on September 1st 2017, Susan managed to summit Kilimanjaro, describing it at "A crazy experience, but definitely one I'll never forget!".

Susan visited one of the school projects in Moshi, Tanzania (Ronga School) which is attended by 300 children (in just 4 classrooms) and was able to see how the school is supported by Childreach International.

They've recently repainted and replaced the roof, and teachers have completed a training programme on child protection and effective child clubs in schools, as part of the Equal Rights project.

Before the project began in 2015, Ronga was ranked 131st out of 252 schools in Moshi. It is now ranked 3rd. This is down to the renovation work, child rights clubs and a new health programme.

Morclean are very happy and proud to have supported Susan with this immense challenge, in order to raise money for a fantastic and very important cause, with the overall total being £3574.48 (with GiftAid)!!!! Congratulations Susan!
